On May 25-26 2023, the 2nd World Hardware Development Conference and the 13th China (Yongkang) International Door Industry Expo were held in Yongkang, Zhejiang Province. Professor Xue Wei, Foreign Academician of Russian Academy of Engineering and Director of Laser Base, was invited to attend the event.
Under the theme of "Innovation Leading the Way to a New Era of Global Hardware Manufacturing," this conference invited international organizations, distinguished guests, experts and scholars, and leading enterprises from various fields. Its aim was to share market opportunities in global hardware industry, with the goal of progress and mutual benefit, and to pave the way for development through inheritance, innovation, and integration.
During the conference, Professor Xue Wei held discussions with Ye Jianyong, Director of Yongkang Science and Technology Bureau, and other leaders on topics such as deepening cooperation. Both parties exchanged their experiences and ideas on innovation and development in hardware industry, and unanimously agreed that strengthening industry-academic-research-application collaboration and promoting technological innovation were key factors in promoting high-quality development of hardware industry in Yongkang.
