Afternoon of May 24 2023, in order to deeply study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Party Congress and continuously promote the high-quality development of party building work, three party branches from Wenzhou Urban University, led by the Secretary of the Party Committee, Wu Ting, visited Wenzhou University China International Science & Technology Cooperation Base for Laser Processing Robotics. They conducted a joint Party Day activity with Wenzhou University Laser Red Party Branch under the theme of "Extensive Visits, Extensive Research, Extensive Services" for the Party Building Alliance. They were warmly received by Professor Xue Wei, Foreign Academician of Russian Academy of Engineering and Director of Laser Base, attended the symposium.
During the symposium, Professor Ma Guang, Secretary of Laser Red Party Branch and Dean of Laser and Optoelectronic Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute of Wenzhou University, provided a detailed introduction to the basic overview, development process, and work achievements of Laser Red Party Branch. Laser Red Party Branch has always adhered to the leadership of party building, promoted the integration and promotion of party building work and professional work, and in accordance with the requirements put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping for the "Four Orientations," leveraged its advantages in innovation and ecology to provide strong support for the construction of high-level interdisciplinary field in laser manufacturing.

Before the meeting, Secretary Wu Ting and his delegation also visited Wenzhou University China International Science & Technology Cooperation Base for Laser Processing Robotics, where they gained insights into the current situation and achievements of Laser Base in platform construction, integration of industry and education, and collaborative efforts between faculty and students. They also learned about the application and practice of laser technology in various industries related to intelligent manufacturing.
