With nearly a century of perseverance and nurturing talents, Wenzhou University celebrates its 90th anniversary of education. Afternoon of May 13 2023, alumni and guests and from Wenzhou University Alumni Association visited Laser Base for exchange, and were warmly received by WZU Laser Team.
The WZU Laser Team provided the alumni with a detailed introduction to the “One Body & Two Wings” operating mechanism of laser manufacturing discipline at Wenzhou University, with Laser Base as main platform and Laser Institute as main battlefield. They highlighted the collaborative innovation and entrepreneurship of integrating academic and industry. They also showcased the impressive achievements of two decades of dedicated efforts in promoting integrated innovation between academia, industry, research and application. During the visit to Experimental Center, the alumni gained further insights into the extensive applications and fruitful outcomes of laser technology in micro-nano processing, aerospace, intelligent manufacturing, and other fields.
The alumni expressed their admiration and appreciation for the outstanding achievements and innovative outcomes of WZU Laser Team in platform construction, industry-academic integration, and collaborative efforts between faculty and students in the field of laser manufacturing. They pledged to continue following the development of the WZU Laser Team and provide support and assistance for the construction and growth of Laser Base. The alumni firmly believed that WZU Laser Team will continue to make more breakthroughs and achievements, adding new brilliance to the development of Wenzhou University.
