Afternoon of May 8 2023, Wang Yanxue, Dean of School of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering at Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and his delegation visited Laser Base for Exchange. Zhou Rong, Party Secretary of School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Ma Guang, Director of Laser Institute, and Cao Yu, Deputy Director of Laser Base, attended the meeting.
Professor Cao Yu, Deputy Director of Laser Base, introduced the development process of Wenzhou University Laser Team to Dean Wang Yanxue and his delegation. He also highlighted the achievements in platform construction, project applications, and collaborative efforts between faculty and students. During the subsequent visit to experimental center, the application of laser technology in engineering was explained in detail.
During the symposium, both parties had in-depth discussions on discipline development, research cooperation, and talent cultivation.
