Morning of May 6 2023, Zhou Jianqiang, Dean of School of Mechanical Engineering at Quzhou College, and his delegation visited Laser Base for research and learning. They were warmly received by Professor Li Fengping, Deputy Director of Laser Base, and other team members.
Professor Li Fengping, Deputy Director of Laser Base, introduced the “One Body & Two Wings” collaborative operation mechanism of Laser Base and Laser Institute, as well as the fruitful results achieved in innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-education integration, which leverages the advantages of the platform. The delegation then visited base's experimental center to gain a specific understanding of the practical applications of laser technology in the field of intelligent manufacturing.
During the exchange meeting, Dean Zhou Jianqiang and his delegation actively exchanged experiences in operation and management of research platforms and institutes. They highly praised the practice and effectiveness of Laser Base, expressing their desire to learn from the experience of Wenzhou University Laser Team, strengthen cooperation, promote education, and drive local industrial development.
