Morning of April 21 2023, Zhang Weibin, Standing Member of Provincial Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Deputy Director of Committee on Education, Science, Health and Sports, along with his delegation, visited Laser Base for research and guidance. They were accompanied by Wang Shun, Vice President of Wenzhou University, and Xue Wei, Director of Laser Base.
Zhang Weibin carefully listened to the reports on Laser Base's achievements in “One Body & Two Wings” integrated innovation and entrepreneurship, innovative chain layout around industrial chain, and breakthrough innovations that have yielded fruitful results. They also gained an understanding of the practical applications and achievements of laser technology in empowering industrial clusters and promoting economic development through a visit to Laser Base's experimental center.
Zhang Weibin recognized WZU Laser Team's two-decade-long commitment to integrating industry, education, research nd application, and he expressed the hope that Laser Base would further strengthen cooperation with enterprises, industry associations and other social organizations, explore more application scenarios, and better promote the industrialization of technological achievements, thereby promoting local economic development.
