Afternoon of April 12 2023, Chen Genfang, Member of the Standing Committee of Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress and Chairman of Education, Science, Technology, Culture and Health Committee, and his delegation visited China International Science & Technology Cooperation Base of Laser Processing Robot for research, accompanied by Xu Yufei, Vice Director of the Standing Committee of Wenzhou Municipal People's Congress. Wenzhou University Vice President Xu He Kun and Cai Shuguang, Laser Base Director Prof. Xue Wei and related personnel attended the reception.
Chen Genfang and his delegation listened carefully to the report of Laser Base in party building and co-creation of comprehensive cooperation between university and enterprises, “One Body & Two Wings” of collaborative innovation and entrepreneurship, layout of innovation chain around industrial chain, convergence of talent to build science and innovation platform, integration of industry and education to create dual-creation ecology, breakthrough of innovation and fruitful results, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship of teachers and students. Then they visited the Laser Base experimental center and asked in detail about the difficulties that existed in the development process of Laser Base. During the research, Chen Genfang also talked with students to understand their study and life in school.
Chen Genfang gave full affirmation to the achievements of Laser Base, he said that the platform had very characteristic highlight, meanwhile hoped that Laser Base could continue to work on platform construction, scientific and technological innovation and talent training, and contribute to local economic and social development.
