April 23 2023, Professor Antonios Armaou of Pennsylvania State University visited Laser Base for exchange. He was accompanied by Professor Li Fengping, Deputy Director of Laser Base, and Associate Professor Zhu Dehua, among other team members.
During the visit, Professor Li Fengping, Deputy Director of Laser Base, introduced Professor Antonios Armaou to recent platform development and research achievements of WZU Laser Team. Associate Professor Zhu Dehua showcased the existing large and medium-sized equipment in Laser Base, as well as the practical applications of laser technology in areas such as micro-nano processing, robotics, and intelligent manufacturing.
As an internationally renowned expert in the field of control, Professor Antonios Armaou has a broad vision and deep understanding of the application of laser technology in manufacturing industry. During the exchange visit, he highly praised the development of laser manufacturing discipline at Wenzhou University and expressed willingness to strengthen cooperation, actively introduce overseas resources, and promote transformation and industrialization of research achievements.
