Morning of March 13 2023, Zhang Zhidong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang Industry & Trade Vocational College, and his delegation visited Laser Base for exchange, accompanied by Zhang Jian, Secretary of the Party Committee of Wenzhou University and Xu Hekun, Vice President of Wenzhou University, along with Prof. Xue Wei, Foreign Academician of Russian Academy of Engineering.
Firstly, Prof. Li Fengping introduced WZU Laser Team's “One Body & Two Wings” operation mechanism of collaborative innovation and entrepreneurship with Laser Base as the main front and Laser Institute as the main battlefield, the layout of innovation chain around industrial chain, the integration of industry and education to create a dual-innovation ecology, as well as the accomplishments of 20 years’ commitment to collaborative innovation in the integration of industry, academics, research and application.
Then, accompanied by Academician Xue Wei, Director of Laser Base, Secretary Zhang Zhidong and his delegation visited the experimental center of Laser Base, and learned about the development of laser intelligent equipment and the situation of laser-empowered advanced manufacturing industry in various tracks.
Secretary Zhang Zhidong spoke highly of the achievements made by WZU Laser Team and looked forward to enhancing communication between two sides. Secretary Zhang Jian hoped that WZU Laser Teamcould continue to play to its strengths and make contributions in technology research, empowering industry and talent training.
