Afternoon of March 10 2023, Guan Suye, Vice Governor of Cangnan County, and her delegation visited Laser Base for research and guidance, warmly received by Prof. Xue Wei, Foreign Academician of Russian Academy of Engineering and Director of Laser Base, Prof. Li Fengping, Deputy Director of Laser Base, Researcher Fang Tiehui and relevant team members.
Accompanied by Researcher Fang Tiehui, Vice Governor Guan Suye and her delegation visited the experimental center of Laser Base, and learned about the laser applications and related results in the fields of aircraft blade strengthening, engraving air film holes, and robot depth controllability.
In the subsequent symposium, Prof. Li Fengping introduced WZU Laser Team's “One Body & Two Wings” operation mechanism of collaborative innovation and entrepreneurship with Laser Base as the main front and Laser Institute as the main battlefield, as well as the accomplishments of 20 years’ commitment to collaborative innovation in the integration of industry, academics, research and application.
Vice Governor Guan Suye spoke highly of the achievements of WZU Laser Team in platform construction, innovation & entrepreneurship, and service to society. She hoped to cooperate with WZU Laser Team, apply laser-related technologies to Cangnan County, and promote innovation and upgrading of local industries.
