Morning of February 10 2023, Song Fengjun, Vice General Manager of Shaanxi Collaboration Technology Industry Development Co., Ltd. and his delegation visited Laser Base to discuss cooperation, warmly received by Prof. Xue Wei, Foreign Academician of Russian Academy of Engineering and and Director of Laser Base, Prof.Li Fengping and Prof. Cao Yu, Deputy Directors of Laser Base, and relevant team members.
Led by Director of Laser Base, Academician Xue Wei, Vice General Manager Song Fengjun and his delegation visited the experimental centre of Laser Base, to learn about the applications and related achievements of laser in the fields of precision machining, paint and rust removal from complex surfaces, and surface strengthening of aviation blades.
In the subsequent symposium, Prof. Li Fengping introduced WZU Laser Team's“One Body & Two Wings” operation mechanism of collaborative innovation and entrepreneurship with Laser Base as the main front and Laser Institute as the main battlefield, as well as the accomplishments of 20 years’ commitment to collaborative innovation in the integration of industry, academics, research and application. Vice General Manager Song Fengjun spoke highly of the achievements made by WZU Laser Team, and expressed a strong willingness to cooperate in scientific and technological projects and transform results to the ground.
