On Nov. 23, accompanied by Prof. Feng Aixin, Dean of Rui'an Graduate School of Wenzhou University, Academician Sheregh Valery Konstantinovich, member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, visited the International Science and Technology Cooperation Base of Laser Processing Robot, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Professor Cao Yu, deputy director of the laser base, and staff of relevant departments received him warmly.
Prof. Cao Yu expressed a warm welcome to the arrival of academician Sheregh and his delegation. He then led them to visit the laser base and briefly introduced the achievements of the base in laser surface strengthening, laser micro-hole processing, laser rust and paint removal and other fields.
After a detailed overview of the base, Academician Schlegel gave a full affirmation of the base's contribution in the field of laser and the promotion of related industries, and wished the base could make more outstanding achievements in the field of laser processing, and he also hoped that both sides could cooperate in this field.
