On the afternoon of April 26th, 2021, The thesis opening review meeting of the first batch of three post-doctors of Wenzhou University Laser Base was successfully held in the 6C401 conference room of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering by the combination of online and offline. Division Chief Wu Yanfeng, Deputy Division Chief Cai Shiwei, Director Zheng Haoliang，of Special Technical Department of Wenzhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau，Vice President of Wenzhou University, Workstation Cooperation Tutor Professor Xue Wei, Deputy Chief of Laser Base Professor Ma Guang, Mobile Station Cooperation Tutor Professor Zhou Jianzhong, Professor Lu Jinzhong, Workstation Cooperation Tutor Professor Feng Aixin and Assistant Dean of Postdoctoral Workstation of Wenzhou University attended the opening review meeting. The meeting was hosted by Zou Chao, Vice President of the Graduate School of Wenzhou University, and introduced the guests.
First of all, Xue Wei, vice president of Wenzhou University, gave an opening speech. He said that the post-doctoral workstation of Wenzhou University was strongly supported from the Municipal People's Social Security Bureau since its establishment. The joint training of post-doctoral students by the manner of workstation can effectively initiate synergistic cooperation with two universities, promote the healthy development of disciplines, make a solid base for doctoral degree application, and better bring along the development of WenZhou University, thus promoting the development of local industry and economy.
Professor Feng Aixin, who was leader of the assessment team, presided over the first stage of the meeting, where two doctors, Meng Xiankai and Cai Jie, who were jointly trained by Jiangsu University and Wenzhou University, reported the opening reports entitled "Research on the microstructure and stress strengthening mechanism of laser peening aviation light alloy assisted by ultrasound" and "Research on the interface control method and high temperature performance strengthening mechanism of thermal barrier coating" respectively. Professor Xue Wei, who was leader of the assessment team, presided over the second stage of the meeting, where Li Pengfei reported the opening report entitled "Research on the cooperative control of surface shape of nanosecond laser polishing assisted by ultrasonic vibration". The experts of the assessment team proposed opinions and suggestions for the research route and experimental scheme three doctors presented.
The panel of experts unanimously agreed that the three doctors' post-doctoral opening reports were reasonable in argumentation, comprehensive in content and logical, and met the requirements in terms of scientificity, rigor and innovation, and agreed to open the topic. The evaluation experts hoped that they would further clarify the research tasks, fill up the research mechanism and explore application research on the basis of Wenzhou local laser industry to promote the transformation and upgrading of the industry.
Wu Yanfeng, director of the Special Technology Department of Wenzhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, fully approved the opening reports of three post-docs. The research directions of the three postdocs are related to the stability, strength and fatigue resistance of materials, which are the bottleneck technologies in the domestic aviation field. I would like to thank the support for the post-doctoral work from three postdocs and training instructors. Postdoctoral work is the most advanced, which can play a key role in promoting Wenzhou's industrial transformation, product upgrading and forward-looking key technology research. The focus of work in the next step is to how to further improve work efficiency and attain better results for the post-doctoral workstation.
