The team of Professor Xue Wei from Laser Base won three awards

Recently, China Invention Association and China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Association successively announced the 2020 Invention and Entrepreneurship Award Innovation Award and the 2020 China Industry-University-Research Cooperation and Innovation Promotion Award, among which the team of Professor Xue Wei won the first prize of Invention and Entrepreneurship Award Innovation Award, Industry-University-Research Cooperation and Innovation Award (individual) and Industry-University-Research Cooperation and Innovation Award (unit).

Bravely overcome difficulties and fill the gaps in domestic aviation: The team achievement "Key Technologies and Applications of Laser Strengthening and Composite Manufacturing of Complex Components" won the first prize of Innovation Award of Invention and Entrepreneurship Award of China Invention Association.

This project is presided over by Professor Xue Wei from the base, and completed by Wenzhou University, Jiangsu University, Shenyang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Institute of Laser and Optoelectronic Intelligent Manufacturing of Wenzhou University. Focusing on the major strategic needs of the country, through the combination of theoretical calculation and experimental research, and the combination of technical development and major engineering applications, a series of creative achievements have been made in laser shock strengthening and composite remanufacturing theory, key technologies and complete sets of equipment of high-end complex components. The theory breaks through the difficult problem of laser strengthening and remanufacturing of complex components in the field of aeroengine in China, and fills the domestic blank. At present, some indexes have reached the international leading level, and are widely used in anti-fatigue manufacturing and remanufacturing of aero-engines, large aircraft, steam turbines, heavy machinery and auto parts, leading the technological progress of laser strengthening and remanufacturing of high-end components in China and enhancing China's international competitiveness. Among them, 47 invention patents were obtained for laser shock strengthening and composite remanufacturing theory, key technologies and complete sets of equipment of high-end complex components, and SCI papers were cited and evaluated by academicians of American Academy of Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Slovenian Academy of Sciences.

Try first and serve the needs of local industries: Professor Xue Wei won the Individual Award for Cooperative Innovation in Industry-University-Research. Professor Xue Wei has devoted himself to scientific research and Industry-University-Research work in laser and photoelectric technology, mechanical manufacturing engineering and automation for a long time, presided over and participated in more than 20 national and provincial scientific research projects, and authorized more than 70 invention patents, including 2 authorized invention patents of the United States, and published more than 100 academic papers, including more than 40 papers included in SCI. The application of related achievements in enterprises has accumulated hundreds of millions of economic benefits, and the achievements presided over or participated in have won more than 10 provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards. Professor Xue Wei has always paid attention to serving the needs of local industries, and assisted the high-quality development of Wenzhou laser and optoelectronic industry with the deep integration of Industry-University-Research cooperation. In response to the strategic planning requirements of the Ministry of Science and Technology to build China's (Wenzhou) laser and optoelectronic industry cluster and Zhejiang Province to promote "building a strong province with intelligence" and building an advanced manufacturing base, he led the laser and optoelectronic research team and founded the Institute of Laser and Optoelectronic Intelligent Manufacturing of Wenzhou University, becoming the "leader" of Wenzhou University in serving local industries. After four years' efforts, the Institute of Laser and Optoelectronic Intelligent Manufacturing of Wenzhou University has successively won the first batch of new research and development institutions in Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Engineering Laboratory, Zhejiang-Russia (Wenzhou University) Joint Laboratory for International Cooperation in Ultrafast Laser Advanced Manufacturing, Zhejiang Collaborative Innovation Center for Laser and Optoelectronic Intelligent Manufacturing, etc. The Innovation Service Complex of Laser and Optoelectronic Industry in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province operated by the Institute has won the provincial excellent complex. The allocation of innovative resources is optimized, the innovative elements are gathered here, and the innovative potential is constantly stimulated under the guidance of Wenda. At present, there are 461 affiliated enterprises in Wenzhou laser and photoelectric industry, and the total industrial output value is 72.476 billion yuan.
