General information
ShahNor Basri completed his undergraduate and master's degrees at the University of Wales, Swansea, UK in 1982 and 1986, respectively, and was awarded the honorary titles of Fellow of Science Malaysia and Fellow of the Islamic Academy of Sciences before joining the WSU Laser Base in December 2021, and became a member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (MIEM) group, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the British Society for Digital Engineering ( MNES), etc.
Main professional experiences
He worked as Professor and Assistant Vice Chancellor at Universiti Kailantan Malaysia during 2017-2018 and the rest did teaching and research at University of Pahang, Malaysia, University of Tebah, Saudi Arabia, University of Colaij, Malaysia as a mechanic, and University of Putra Malaysia.

Academic appointment
From 2009 to present, he has served as a member of the editorial board of the American Journal of Engineering Science and Research Press.He has also served as a member of the Steering Committee of the International Symposium on Basic and Applied Sciences in Hong Kong, a member of the Steering Committee of the International Conference on Engineering and Applied Sciences in Shanghai, a member of the International Steering Committee of the International Symposium on Basic and Applied Sciences, and an advisor to the Academic Development Committee of the International Islamic University Engineering Kulia, Malaysia.
Academic achievements
To date, he has published more than 150 journal and conference papers, 14 books, and presided over and participated in more than 20 research projects at all levels.
