International Science & Technology Cooperation Base for Laser Processing Robot
【Overview】 Based on the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Wenzhou University, The International Science & Technology Cooperation Base for Laser Processing Robot has remarkable characteristics and established advantages in the fields of advanced laser manufacturing technology, laser processing robots and intelligent complete sets of equipment, and laser processing detection and robot reliability technology. Since the base was identified in October 2015, it has vigorously introduced domestic and foreign scientific and technological experts and leading talents engaged in laser and photoelectric research to the base to carry out academic exchanges and scientific research, and vigorously introduced innovative teams mastering core technologies to form a talent echelon with reasonable structure. 32 academic leaders and backbones in the field of laser and photoelectric technology have been introduced full-time, and 20 people have been introduced flexibly; 47 major national science and technology projects, national natural science foundation and other provincial and ministerial-level projects and above; Published 168 high-level academic papers (included in SCI and EI) and authorized 134 invention patents, including 2 PCT patents; Won 10 scientific and technological awards at or above the provincial level. The site area of the base is 20,600 square meters, and the original value of scientific research equipment is 100 million yuan.
The base continuously optimizes the management mode and research direction, pays close attention to the international frontier research issues and technology development trends, takes the construction of international talent research team as the goal, takes the common needs of national industrial development as the guide, and explores the transformation mode of "four in one and integration" of scientific and technological achievements by combining the construction of the Laser Photoelectric Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute of Wenzhou University and the Pingyang Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute of Wenzhou University jointly established by Wenzhou University and Pingyang County People's Government. At present, 19 scientific and technological achievements have been industrialized, and the income from scientific research achievements transfer and scientific and technological services is over 20 million yuan.
【The base undertakes training programs for developing countries】 In October 2019, the base successfully held the "Training Course for Developing Countries of Laser Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Application", which provided 22 international trainees from 9 countries along the the belt and road initiative, including India, Cambodia, Pakistan, Algeria, Ukraine, Russia, Greece, Mongolia and Ecuador, with a 20-day training. This will set up a new platform for Wenzhou to export advanced laser manufacturing technology to developing countries, and also open up a new channel for Wenzhou's laser and optoelectronic industry to explore the "the belt and road initiative" international market, and promote the export of advanced laser technology and products in WenZhou.
【Signed Industry-University-Research cooperation agreement with "the belt and road initiative" countries】 So far, the base has signed cooperation agreements with seven units including governments, universities and listed companies in six countries along "the belt and road initiative" of India, Cambodia, Algeria, Greece, Mongolia and Ecuador, hoping to further expand cooperation in international education, integration of production and education, skills training, scientific and technological research and development, entrepreneurial innovation, practical teaching and cultural exchange.
