Wenzhou University, Moscow State University and Singapore State University jointly established Zhejiang-Russia (Wenzhou University) International Cooperation Joint Laboratory for Advanced Ultrafast Laser Manufacturing

Zhejiang-Russia (Wenzhou University) International Cooperation Joint Laboratory of Ultrafast Laser Advanced Manufacturing, in collaboration with Professor Vyacheslav A.Trofimov of Moscow State University and Professor Hong Minghui of Singapore State University, has jointly tackled key problems around high-efficiency and high-quality precision machining technology and equipment of hard and brittle materials such as panel glass, sapphire, crystalline silicon and other semiconductor electronic materials, developed high-quality laser cutting, drilling and testing equipment, and promoted laser precision machining technology based on market and customer demand. At present, the ultra-fast laser processing equipment for hard and brittle materials has been jointly developed and promoted to "the belt and road initiative" countries. The laboratory won the special grant of Zhejiang the belt and road initiative for scientific and technological cooperation in 2017, with a financial grant of 1.5 million yuan.
