According to the notice of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology on organizing the application for the technical training course for developing countries in 2019, and relying on the advantages of Wenzhou University in the field of laser and photoelectric intelligent manufacturing technology, our unit specially applied to hold an international training course on advanced laser manufacturing technology and application in developing countries in 2019. Holding an international training course on advanced laser manufacturing technology and application can provide an opportunity for the international community to learn, exchange and discuss advanced manufacturing technology together, strengthen friendly cooperation between China and developing countries, and promote cooperation and exchanges between China and developing countries in the field of intelligent manufacturing. Promote the improvement of scientific and technological level, scientific research capacity building and industrial technological progress in developing countries, accelerate the process of informatization construction in developing countries, and reduce the manufacturing level among regions in the world. The training course was held in Wenzhou. Since Wenzhou was approved as an innovative industrial cluster of laser and optoelectronics in 2013, the laser application market has been expanding. At present, there are more than 110 enterprises engaged in the laser and optoelectronics industry in Wenzhou, with an annual output value of more than 30 billion yuan, initially forming an industrial chain featuring laser application, photovoltaic power generation, LED lighting and optical communication, and demonstrating and popularizing the application of laser processing technology in industries with distinctive advantages such as clothing, shoes, pumps and valves, and electricity. In the international training course of advanced laser manufacturing technology and application, it is planned to arrange visits and investigations of leading enterprises in the industry such as Pentium Laser (Wenzhou) Co., Ltd. and Wenzhou Bona Laser Technology Co., Ltd., which can show the achievements of China's reform and opening up and the development of high-tech industries, especially advanced manufacturing industries, to developing countries, and is of great significance for promoting China, forming a harmonious atmosphere of friendship and mutual trust and establishing a good international image of China.
