Morning of May 22 2023, Ge Yiping, Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, and his delegation visited Laser Base for research and guidance. Zhang Jian, Secretary of the Party Committee of Wenzhou University, Zhao Min, President of Wenzhou University and Professor Xue Wei, Director of Laser Base, accompanied them during the visit.
Professor Xue Wei, Director of Laser Base, briefed Director Ge Yiping and his delegation on the development philosophy, progress, and the “One Body & Two Wings” operation mechanism of WZU Laser Team, highlighting the platform construction, party building leadership, breakthrough innovations, and collaborative efforts of faculty and students under the concept of "Inspiring Innovation, Illuminating Intelligent Manufacturing". He also focused on the application of laser technology in fields such as aerospace, intelligent equipment, and biomedical sciences.
Director Ge Yiping highly praised the achievements of WZU Laser Team in their commitment to integrated innovation, collaboration in research, industry, academic, appilcation and entrepreneurship. The delegation also visited the collaborative space and experimental center of Laser Base.
