Morning of March 16 2023, Xu Shoukun, President and Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of Changzhou University, and his delegation visited Laser Base for exchange, accompanied by Wang Shun, Vice President of Wenzhou University and Prof. Xue Wei, Foreign Academician of Russian Academy of Engineering.
Firstly, Prof. Cao Yu introduced WZU Laser Team's “One Body & Two Wings” operation mechanism of collaborative innovation and entrepreneurship with Laser Base as the main front and Laser Institute as the main battlefield, and the results achieved in platform construction, innovation & entrepreneurship and party building leading. Then, President Xu Shoukun and his delegation visited the experimental center of Laser Base, to further understand the accomplishments of laser-empowered advanced manufacturing industry in various tracks.
President Xu Shouku expressed his appreciation for the effectiveness made by WZU Laser Team of 20 years’ commitment to collaborative innovation in the integration of industry, academics, research and application, and looked forward to the cooperation and exchange between two sides. Vice President Wang Shun hoped that WZU Laser Team could continue to facilitate the integration of industry and education, and inject new vitality to promote scientific and technological innovation and talent training.
