On November 16th, 2021, Chairman Wu Chaowu of Zhejiang Rigao Intelligent Machinery Co., Ltd. and his party visited the laser base for negotiate cooperation. Director Xue Wei, and Deputy Director Li Fengping, and the heads of relevant departments，of the Laser Base, warmly hosted them.
Chairman Wu Chaowu and his party visited the whole laser base with guidance of Director Xue Wei , and got a fairly good idea of related technologies and equipment such as multifunctional high-power pulsed laser processing robot system, infrared picosecond laser micro-nano processing system, laser-induced plasma spectrum analysis system, laser processing driving and control integrated prototype development system independently developed by the base research team.
At the subsequent exchange meeting, Director Xue Wei introduced that the laser base is the main battlefield, where key core technologies around the industrial chain layout are tackled and researchers gather, and the laser research institute is the main front and the platform for engineering application transformation and engineers gathering. Since its establishment five years ago, the Institute has achieved more than 30 scientific and technological achievements transformation and more than 20 incubation enterprises. Chairman Wu Chaowu fully approved the synergy development mode for the base and researchers, and hoped that the two parties could cooperate deeply in fields of laser application, such as stainless steel products, sheet metal processing, printing, packaging equipment, cosmetics and in the cultivation of innovative talents in the future.
