On November 3rd, 2021, Executive Vice President of Nanjing Laser Research Institute Zhou Jun, Deputy Director of Marketing Department Gong Qin, , Deputy Director of Laser Equipment Center Liu Dongtao, Professor Sufei from Institute of Computer Science of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Marketing Director of Shanghai Feibo Laser Technology Co., Ltd. Leng Xuepeng, Chairman of Wenzhou Mingtai Laser Zhang Zhaobing visited the base for investigation, accompanied by Vice Chairman of Ouhai District CPPCC Jiang Huajun, Deputy Director of Ouhai District Investment Promotion Service Center Chen Senruo. Executive Deputy Director Ma Guang, Deputy Director Li Fengping and Deputy Director Cao Yu, of Laser Base, warmly hosted them.
Zhou Jun and his party visited the scientific research and innovation area of the base. Cao Yu, deputy director, introduced them the related technologies and equipment such as multifunctional high-power pulsed laser processing robot system, infrared picosecond laser micro-nano processing system, laser-induced plasma spectrum analysis system, laser processing driving and control integrated prototype development system independently developed by the research team of the base.
At the subsequent symposium, Ma Guang, executive deputy director, introduced the strategic positioning, development process, mechanism and operation mode of the base. Zhou Jun fully appreciated the development model of "one body with two wings" of the base, and shared the experience of Nanjing laser research in talent introduction, industrial technology research and development, enterprise incubation, system and mechanism exploration and local service. Deputy Director Ma Guang thanked Vice President Zhou Jun for his sharing. He said that the base should not only pay attention to scientific research breakthroughs, but also focus on the transformation of achievements. The sharing result would be a significant reference for local colleges and universities how to better serve local community.
