Abstract

The traditional MAXIMUM power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm may misjudge under the rapid change of light irradiation, so it can't track quickly and accurately to the maximum power point (MPP), based on the realization of MPPT and the basic circuit equation of solar cell, the MPPT algorithm disturbance step size and light are constructed. The mathematical model among irradiation intensity, ambient temperature, maximum power point and sampling period is presented, and the effect of disturbance step size on the rapid change of irradiation intensity is analyzed. Experimental results show that the perturbation step size model has high reliability and practicability.
