    Research on new technology of laser cleaning of inner surface of pipeline based on annular beam shaping

    Laser cleaning is a new type of green surface cleaning technology, which has the outstanding advantages of high cleaning quality, no consumables, high efficiency and no polluting wastewater. It has been successfully applied in many fields, such as carbon steel surface rust removal, bronze/stone cultural relics decontamination, aircraft surface paint removal, rubber mold surface residue removal, printed circuit board cleaning, etc. However, for the inner surface of the pipeline, limited by its pipe diameter and the shape of the non-open revolving inner wall, the general laser cleaning processing head is difficult to penetrate into the pipeline due to the large size of the complex beam scanning movement mechanism, and the circumferential scanning movement efficiency of the focused laser beam is low, which makes it difficult to see the mature engineering application case of laser cleaning the inner surface of the pipeline at present, and the related literature reports are few. Under this background, this project proposes a new laser cleaning technology for the inner surface of pipeline based on annular beam shaping with completely independent intellectual property rights, which completely abandons the traditional complex technical idea of beam scanning movement, but adopts Bessel beam shaping optical path system to realize the transformation of Gaussian beam into annular beam, and realizes the high-efficiency and high-precision laser cleaning of the inner surface of pipeline by annular focusing line beam, thus eliminating the need for machining head or pipeline spin. The machining head mechanism is simplified and greatly reduced in size, which solves the bottleneck problem that the traditional laser cleaning technology is difficult to be applied to cleaning the inner surface of pipelines, and is of great significance for promoting the development of independent core technologies in the fields of high-end equipment manufacturing such as nuclear power, chemical industry, pumps and valves, power and national defense in China.
