    Basic Research on Application of Precision Micro-etching Power Oriented Silicon Steel with New Laser Light Source

    Oriented silicon steel is an indispensable and important soft magnetic material in electric power and electronic industry, and iron loss is one of its most important magnetic performance parameters. Reducing iron loss by laser micro-indentation is one of the most promising methods at present. In this project, ultra-fast laser is used to accurately deep groove and prepare microstructure to reduce iron loss and improve thermal stability of notch. Its purpose is to use ultrafast laser to micro-etch the silicon steel substrate, so as to refine the magnetic domain and obtain high-performance oriented silicon steel with low iron loss and high thermal stability. On this basis, it reveals the physical mechanism of the new laser source to accurately mark and prepare microstructures to reduce iron loss. Then master the new method of improving ultra-fast laser microetching oriented silicon steel and reducing iron loss.
