On the morning of July 1, the Laser Red Staff Party Branch and the Third Postgraduate Party Branch of the School of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering of Wenzhou University jointly launched the "Nurturing People for the Party, Caring for Youth" July 1 Theme Party Day and the Laser Red Staff-Student Party Building Co-creation Activity on the 15th floor of the Science and Technology Complex Building, to pay tribute to the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
Huang Wei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, participated in this branch activity for the first time as a member of the Laser Red Party Branch. Professor Ma Guang, secretary of the Laser Red Party Branch, and Wang Pengfei, secretary of the Third Party Branch of Postgraduates, signed a vow of co-creation of the Laser Red Party building for teachers and students. The branch invited Ms. Tong Yuning, a Civic Science teacher, to lead the students and faculty to revisit the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the conference celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China. Fang Tiehui, a teacher representative, combined his personal experience to tell that it is the Party and the country that have been tirelessly developing hybrid rice, researching artemisinin and other ways to solve the problem of food shortage and infectious diseases such as malaria in the mountainous areas of Hunan, and it is the Party and the country that do not give up anyone regardless of the cost and repair and complete the roads, water and electricity grids and other livelihood matters in the poor areas of western Hunan for the sake of possible development opportunities for all. In the face of such a party and such a country, it is only right that we should contribute our own modest strength to its prosperity and strength.
In March of this year, the third party branch of the Laser Red faculty and the third party branch of postgraduates have reached the intention of twinning, with the twinning mode of "one helping one, one leading many", not only teaching professional knowledge, but also focusing on the ideological education, psychological health, life planning, and life difficulties of postgraduates to help guide. Through the carrier of twinning and co-creation, we strengthen the education of socialist core values for postgraduates and help them to make growth plans, so that they can better understand the society and their professional knowledge and become the builders and successors of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The faculty and student branches chose to formally sign the twinning agreement on the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Party, both as a tribute to the Party and to practically unify the thoughts and actions of faculty and students to the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech. The teachers of the Laser Red Branch have pledged to be "teachers of the scriptures" who are proficient in professional knowledge, but also to cultivate moral character and become "teachers of people", and strive to be proficient in "preaching, teaching and solving problems".
